Mitchell Johnson

President/CEO

Mitchell Johnson has served as President and CEO of Ozarks Electric Cooperative since 1999 and is also President of OzarksGo. Prior to this position, he served as Vice President of Administrative Services. In 2014, he was inducted into the Palladium Executing Strategy Hall of Fame in recognition of his leadership.

Steven Bandy

Chief Technology Officer

Steven Bandy serves as Chief Technology Officer for Ozarks Electric Cooperative and its telecommunication subsidiary, OzarksGo. In this role, he oversees the cooperative’s information technology and fiber assets, as well as OzarksGo’s delivery of all-fiber multi-gigabit internet, television and phone services across Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.

Barrett Breeding

Chief Financial Officer

Barrett Breeding serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Ozarks, where he oversees the company's comprehensive financial operations, including finance, accounting, risk management, procurement, and internal corporate facilities. In addition, he leads the organization’s Human Resources and Safety functions, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and operational excellence. Since joining Ozarks in 2021, Barrett has been instrumental in driving significant improvements in financial stability, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.

Derrick Redfearn

Chief Business Officer

Derrick Redfearn was named Chief Business Officer of Ozarks Electric Cooperative in 2024. In this role, he oversees business operations, drives growth initiatives and works to ensure alignment with the cooperative’s mission. He also helps guide business development efforts and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.

Troy W. Scarbrough

Chief Operations Officer — Grid Operations

Troy Scarbrough has served as Chief Operations Officer – Grid Operations for Ozarks Electric Cooperative since 2000. In this role, he oversees planning, engineering, construction, and the maintenance and operation of the cooperative’s electric distribution system.
