Winter Storm Kassandra

Winter Storm Kassandra

Winter Storm Kassandra caused widespread outages throughout our service area starting Tuesday night. As of Wednesday afternoon, we had approximately 7,700 members without power, down from a peak of approximately 12,000. This storm system caused more than 100,000 power outages across the northern half of Arkansas.

All available crews have been dispatched to restore power as quickly as possible, and we anticipate making significant progress in the next 24 hours.

However, due to the widespread nature of the outages, crews will have to make many repairs that will only restore power to a few members at a time. Because of this, we estimate that some of our members will not be restored until late Thursday or early Friday.

We encourage you to take any safety precautions you feel are necessary in case of an extended outage, including safely using a generator or finding alternative lodging. You can find additional power outage safety tips here.

OzarksGo also has 1,500 customers without service. The majority of these outages are due to lack of power. If your OzarksGo service is still out after service has been restored, please contact tech support.

Thank you for your patience while we continue to work through this outage event.
