Relaying For Life
June 2015

Eleven employees from our Oklahoma offices spent a recent Friday night – and early Saturday morning – relaying for life and making a difference.

As part of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Adair County, held Friday, June 12 in Stilwell, OK, our team – Willie Wirehand Clan – participated in the walk, which lasted from 6:00 pm – 2:00 am. Each team member walked for an hour as part of the relay.

In addition, our team raised $900.00 to go toward cancer research. Altogether, the event was a huge success, with 19 teams participating (including more than 250 individual walkers) to raise more than $32,000.

As part of the Ozarks Cares program, each department within our organization chooses an event in which to participate. Our Oklahoma team chose to participate in this event in support of a great cause. To learn more about the American Cancer Society, click here.
