A Team Effort All Around
June 2015

It was 8:00 am on a cloudy and cool Saturday morning when employees from our Operations department donated time and effort to help clean up a local church cemetery.

More than 20 individuals donated six-plus hours of their time Saturday, May 30, to help trim brush and remove broken and dead limbs at Baptist Ford Church and Cemetery in Greenland as part of our Ozarks Cares employee volunteer program.

During the day, employees trimmed brush and trees from near the church building and down the side of the cemetery road so that vehicles can now pass through without being scratched. They also trimmed back several low-hanging trees, removed a few dead or dying trees, grounded stumps and chipped all brush and limbs.

It was a true team effort, one that embodies our commitment to our communities and our members.

As part of the Ozarks Cares program, each department within our organization chooses an event in which to participate. Our Operations department chose to help clean up the local church and cemetery as part of our effort to help make a difference in the communities we serve.
